Mousse au Chocolat - how to (“double post” #1 ;-)

to tell you that as of now I also have my own site: www.macsblog.at! No point to bore you with all the background info twice. So if you want to know more, please just read my first entry. I’ll leave up my tumblr-blog for reference purposes and of course you can still write me a comment or ask a question, if you like. Plus, from now until September 12th - the day, when my blog turns two - I’ll do (some) double posts and reminders. After September 12th, this blog will not be updated - except regarding comments. Already existing FB-fans don’t need to hit the “Like-Button” again - anybody new is more than welcome to! :-) Also after posting this entry I’ll inform Bloglovin’ right away. So those of you, who follow me there also should also be “taken care off”. Thank you all and can’t wait to “see” you on my new site - anxious to hear, what you think. xox, Macs

Ich bin einfach zu aufgeregt und kann es kaum noch erwarten, Euch mitzuteilen, dass ich endlich meinen persönlichen Blog gestartet habe - zu finden unter: www.macsblog.at! Da es keinen Grund gibt, Euch zwei Mal mit den gleichen Hintergrundinformationen zu langweilen, lest bitte einfach meinen ersten Eintrag dort. Den tumblr-blog lasse ich zu Referenz-Zwecken weiterlaufen. Und wenn Ihr mögt, könnt Ihr mir hier auch immer noch einen Kommentar oder eine Frage hinterlassen. Außerdem werde ich von heute bis zum 12. September - wenn mein Blog Zwei wird - (einige) Posts doppelt machen, bzw. Euch auch an meinen Umzug erinnern. Nach dem 12. September gibt es hier dann keine Updates mehr - ausgenommen Kommentare. Die bereits vorhandenen FB-Fans brauchen nicht noch ein Mal auf “Gefällt mir” klicken - alle Neulinge sind aber wie immer herzlich eingeladen, das zu tun! :-) Sobald ich diesen Eintrag gepostet habe, werde ich mich auch gleich an Bloglovin’ wenden, damit sie sich um den reibungslosen “Umzug” meiner dortigen geschätzten Follower kümmern. LBD for home improvement and ikea

Last Thursday we ran a few errands, including a not so quick stop at the home improvement store and an as short as possible-visit at Ikea (depends on, who tells the story ;-). And since I’ve been wearing a lot of casual clothes lately, I was sorta in the mood to dress up at least a bit, so I decided to wear my comfy, summer LBD. The shoes were not the smartest choice, but hey - a girl’s gotta do, what a girl’s gotta do, right? :-)

Letzten Donnerstag hatten wir ein paar Wege, inklusive eines nicht ganz so kurzen im Heimwerkerladen und einem so kurz wie möglichen bei Ikea (kommt drauf an, wer die Geschichte erzählt ;-). Und nachdem ich jetzt oft sehr locker unterwegs war, hatte ich irgendwie Lust mich zumindest ein bisschen hübsch zu machen und mich für mein bequemes, sommerliches kleines Schwarzes entschieden. Die Schuhe waren nicht grad meine beste Wahl, aber hey - was sein muss, muss sein. :-)

our home office is awesome, but I’m still contemplating to get a “girly desk” for the bedroom.  Saw a few interesting models online (here, f.e.), but also wanted to check (in person), if the swedish place had something I might like.

Wir haben zwar ein echt tolles Arbeitszimmer, aber ich denke trotzdem noch über einen “weiblichen” Sekretär im Schlafzimmer nach. Ich hab online (z.B. hier) schon ein paar ganz nette gefunden, wollte aber trotzdem auch (in persona) beim Schweden stöbern.

eigentlich ist dieser schmale, blonde Mann ja für mich kein “sexy Typ” ;-), aber seine Musik macht einfach Laune!

Waahhh - that’s what happens, when you try to keep it low for a couple of weeks. ;-) I almost forgot to show you the snaps we took at the David Guetta gig. And yes, I admit we only went there to see him, mainly due to time and also it was kinda a spontaneous thing. Why kinda? Because although we didn’t want to miss seeing Mr. Awesome Beat (a k a puts me in an energetic mood, whenever I hear one of his hits on the radio) live, we also weren’t sure, whether it was really worth the effort and ended up deciding last minute on Saturday, August 11th, around 18.00 p.m. So we drove over to the old harness racing track, got ourselves the cheapest tickets and simply enjoyed the happy, muddy mood! :D

Tja, das passiert wohl, wenn man es zwei Wochen eher ruhig angehen lässt. Da hätte ich doch fast vergessen, Euch die Bilder vom David Guetta Gig zu zeigen. Und Ja, wir waren nur seinetwegen da - einerseits aus Zeitmangel, andererseits war es schlussendlich eher eine spontane Entscheidung. Warum eher? Nun ja, im Grunde wollten wir von Anfang unbedingt Mr. Superbeat (der mir immer, wenn ich einen seiner Hits im Radio höre, einen kleinen Energieschub gibt) live sehen, andererseits waren wir auch etwas unschlüssig, ob sich der Aufwand für “Konservenmusik” wirklich lohnt. Die Entscheidung, uns das doch nicht entgehen zu lassen, fiel dann erst am Samstag, dem 11. August, so gegen 18.00 Uhr. Wir fuhren hin, holten uns die günstigsten Tickets und genossen die tolle Sommerfestival-Stimmung! :D

Certainly not the hottest outfit there - yet comfortable, neither too warm nor too cold and “safe” - as I didn’t need a purse and my shoes were made for this kinda ground.

Das war an dem Abend bestimmt nicht das stylishste Outfit - allerdings war es bequem, weder zu heiß, noch zu kalt und “sicher” - weil ich keine Tasche brauchte und meine Schuhe bei diesem Grund ideal waren.

cool understatement, so me - now if I could only stand still / grade noch “cool” genug, typisch ich halt - wenn ich jetzt noch stillstehen könnte. :-)

And actually I wore hubbys Barbour jacket instead of mine, because his doesn’t get as heavy and hot as mine. But the sleeves are quite long, so that’s why this is the only snap of my concert wrist band. :-)

Hab mir in weiser Voraussicht die Barbourjacke meines Mannes geliehen, weil die nicht so schwer und heiß wie meine ist. Allerdings sind die Ärmel etwas lang, weshalb das das einzige Foto von meinem Konzertarmband ist. :-)
